This is a collection of some of my favorite images. As you look through the other folders here, you will see some of the same images. This is simply because I've grouped my favorites together in one additional location, and I don't see any reason for excluding them from the other folders where they normally belong because of their subject matter.  Thus there are duplicates to be found. Most of the images in the Portfolio have been digitized from slides. This is partly because I've been shooting with a good digital camera for only a couple of years, and partly because of the differences in location, then vs. now. I used to live in Southern California, which is a great location for an outdoor photographer, which is what my primary area of photographic interest is. When I lived in California, digital photography didn't exist yet. I now live in Houston, Texas, which is a good location for a wedding photographer. Unfortunately, I don't do weddings. Houston's not such a bad town, but its environs simply cannot compare to the scenery of California in particular and the West Coast in general.
